An open day on June 18 was put on by Segro (who bought the 30-acre site 18 months ago) and Barratt London. The two developers are working with Hillingdon Council to secure planning consent. 06/24/2016 Movers: Blackberry picks Pearce, NatWest and Branca deals in Oxford The Pearce Building TH Real Estate has announced mobile communications giant Blackberry has taken 16, 500 sq ft in the Pearce Building in Maidenhead at £37.50 per sq ft, one of the Thames Valley’s highest rents. The 10-year lease has brought the 50,000 sq ft building up to 50 per cent let within six months of completion. Blackberry’s space is spread over the ground, fifth and sixth floors. The proposals on the Old Library site, which also include a ground floor restaurant and bar and leasing part of the Burlington car park for guests, will be discussed at Slough Borough Council’s cabinet meeting.
